Our objective:

Every business is fundamentally a numbers game whise score base on objective measures of profic, cash flow, ans solvency. Moreove, keeping score -reportin- is increasingly challenging, given de complexity of the modern enterprice, with ever-changing tax rules, scrutiny from goverment watchdogs on corporate ethics, and the pressure of global competition. Even so, creditors, shareholders, and numerous goverment agencies expected to have access to accurate measures of a company's health in th form of report that conform to generally accepted acounting principles (GAAP).

These principles define how metrics, such as profit an cash flow, are calculated and reported, enabling potential investors to evalueate the relative merot of companies using a standard basis for comparison.

Our objective is to offer an open platform where the Contaduria General de la Nacion can interchange financer information with goverment watchdogs and invite to people to join to our XBRL community to use our projects database related with XBRL.

What is GIX?

GIX y a Java tool to generate XBRL instances from a Excel file which contains number accounts and values of accounting movemets in the Colombian public sector.

You can look for information about XBRL projecs in progress which are stored in our projects database. In addition your can be a member of the community registering in our site and having the posibility to add XBRL projects that are in progress.
